During pregnancy, a woman’s body goes through immense change over the average course of 38-42 weeks; then within 12 weeks postpartum, we look in the mirror and expect to see the same body that stood there before we got pregnant.

Even if a woman’s body isn’t holding onto weight, there are still likely changes in her breasts, hips, ribs, skin, etc. This is why at A Path Forward we do not believe in bounce back culture. Who you were before pregnancy, before motherhood, is not the same you you are now; physically, emotionally or mentally.

We want you to feel and look your best, and we believe that with the proper exercise routine, that goal is achievable.
